Sliding Window -Rally Slider RX7 S1

Classic rally slider kit.

Light weight Sliding window for competition cars.

This type was designed for Neil Allport's SA22C Mazda RX7 3mm plastic. This type does a better job of keeping the dust out than the standard types.

Kit includes: top and bottom rails that meet in the middle at the front, Sliding piece with folded handle and brass mushroom nuts and SS screws.

You can seal the pieces together with clear silicone and add a piece of sticky back mohair on the trailing edge to make them seal pretty well.

If you want to retrofit it to an existing plastic window you will need to drill holes to mount the rails on your window and a cut a big hole.

The hole in you window is up to you. For Auto - Ventilation you may want to cut a circle or two with a hole saw. If you want to be able to put your hand out to collect your drag time slip or you rally stage paper work you would cut a large square hole with a jig saw with a drilled hole in each corner so you don't have a sharp notchy corner.
