Competition Plastic Windows. 

We produce these for any model vehicle.

We have moulds for most common race cars. If we don't have a mould we might need to borrow your stock glass to create a mound. Rear windows, door glass, 1/4 glass etc are also available.

Made to order.

We work with four materials.

• Standard polycarbonate. (Mouldable. Scratches very easily)
• Hardcoated Polycarbonate (Cannot be moulded only available flat)
• High Impact Acrylic. (Mouldable. Strong. Pretty resilient surface) 3 mm or 4 mm depending on which is available in NZ at the time you order
• Moulded polycarbonate then hard coated. (imported finished product)

The black band is optional. It blocks the sunlight from attacking the sealer and it looks nice.

We recommend High Impact acrylic for clubsport competition cars. This material is the best compromise for the New Zealand market.

It is not street legal, but it is much stronger that standard acrylic and it is mouldable. The surface is almost as scratch resistant as MR10 hardcoated polycarbonate.

UV protection is very good. It is used for OEM headlights and German competition car glazing.

We can produce moulded windows out of standard polycarbonate but although polycarbonate is very strong the surface is very soft and will scratch very easily.

Your helpful crew will inadvertently scratch it just by wiping it once with a rag. This is why we don’t use it much anymore.

The overall best material is Hardcoated Polycarbonate but in sheet form is not mouldable, the coating just crazes. There are some flat car windows that don’t need to be moulded. We can supply flat sheet cut to size for those applications. 

We also supply Hardcoated Moulded Polycarbonate windows if you want to have a street legal option. The windows are thermo formed, then the hardcoating is applied, then the black band is applied. These are the ultimate product. It can’t be done in the southern hemisphere, so we need to import them. The lead-time is a bit long and freight is an additional cost.
